Aran Cucine
Designed by Ulisse Narcisi, Lab13 supports new spatial concepts based on the fusion between living room and kitchen, also thanks to “extra” storage capacity and an almost unlimited range of finishes. With a total of 2,500 furniture items available in 250 finishes, Lab13 is ideal for creating kitchens that blend seamlessly with the elements planned for the living area, featuring the same model or otherwise. A good example is this visually striking design in which the streaked surfaces in Magellano stoneware are combined with the Lab13 kitchen modules with Rigoletto ribbed doors, taken from the wall unit in the living room, with upper shelves in Matt White PET. The two areas are divided by the modular Watch.it bookcase, which has a black metal structure.

Unit Pocket (design Garcia Cumini) comes in a two-sided version, with self-supporting tall units crossed by an open passage that creates a communication window between the spaces. Equipped with a Vintage steel top, cooking and washing, the alcove thus connects the kitchen with the dining area to the front and the living area at the back. On the living area side opposite, the alcove connects to a snack bar top in Breccia Imperiale marble. The fronts and structure in Green Comodoro Anodyc lacquerwork are embellished with Ero handles and feet in the Champagne finish. On the living side, the fronts are in smoked glass with Rock fabric.

The new version of Joy features a system that merges into the spaces it occupies. The two main themes of this idea are the colour black, and the lighting, integrated into both the Segno panelling in Lucido Frisè Smoked Eucalyptus – a point of connection with the living area – and into the Velo band inserted in the back between the bases and wall units, which are in Tech Sense Black Velvet, like the fronts of the island unit. Natural shades and the warmth of wood distinguish the generous open-plan space with kitchen and living room, furnished with the Natural and Color Trend models. The kitchen composition is based on volumes with soft shades that camouflage the functions by placing colours and textures in the foreground. The islands in Timo Lucido lacquered are connected by the oval top in Termocotto Oak; the de luxe worktop is in Neolith® Black Obsession Silk, which has a rich, dark gleam and golden veining. Behind, the tall units in Cannetato Termocotto Oak connect to an alcove with Linea Lacquered Timo Lucido panelling, whose thin metal shelves break up the continuity of the tall units, recalling the finish of the islands.

Neutral tones for a solution with a clear living vocation created with two models, Time + Asia, that successfully model the living area and kitchen together, giving an overall image of great functional, material and chromatic harmony. The two blocks of tall units, with fronts in Platinum metallic lacquerwork Ice veneer respectively, embrace the volume of the island characterised by the Arco sides with bevelled edges and the Tuttotondo snack bar, designed by Michele Marcon. The Laminam top of the snack bar with an oval-based leg, is combined with the worktops of the island and base units. The neutral style of this kitchen idea is also expressed by the exclusive minimalist Brera recessed handle, designed by Marcon.
