Kitchens on board of luxury yachts

Ernestomeda One model on Ferretti 1000 yacht
Kitchens on board of elegant yachts are characterized by luxury but also ergonomics, comfort and extreme attention to materials

Arclinea

One of Arclinea’s most successful furnishing ideas for the galleys of luxury yachts was for the Ferretti Custom Line 100’, an exceptionally sophisticated interior design project. Arclinea fitted out the galley on this sporty luxury yacht with the Convivium model in a customised finish: glossy pale grey lacquerwork combined with light quartz countertops. The exclusive features designed by Arclinea include a waste bio-compactor and the steel Artusi Workbench with remote smoke extraction. Above the base units, which house a wine cooler and under-counter fridge, a pull-out shelf has been fitted to provide access to the technical compartment.

Ernestomeda

Developed from the expertise of the Ferretti Group, the Ferretti 1000 yacht boasts a distinct artisanal approach combined with the nautical sector's most advanced technologies. The interior design embodies an idea of navigation centring around the pursuit of aesthetic and functional perfection, and based on elegant forms and finishes. Part of this vision is the galley furnished by Ernestomeda, featuring the One model. The work area overlooks the sea, and there is an opening onto the living space, satisfying both chefs and diners. The white Fenix Bianco Malè cabinet fronts are paired with Stone+ countertops; the handles and plinths are in a deep mocha brown.

Valcucine

Thanks to its technical features and distinctive lightweight qualities, in line with the principle of dematerialisation, Riciclantica is an ideal choice for kitchen furnishings in the nautical sector. A prime example is the new design for the Arcadia A96 yacht – approximately 30 metres long and nearly 8 metres wide – where Riciclantica reflects Igor Lobanov's approach to interior design. The corner galley features a washing area overlooking a horizontal porthole, while the shorter side houses the cooking area. The aluminium-framed doors enclose the world’s thinnest and lightest panels (just 2 mm thick), seen here with a white lacquered finish.

Mylius Yachts

The Mylius Yachts cruiser 65’ Oscar 3, designed by Alberto Simeone, features elegant interiors created by Parisotto+Formenton Architetti. Oscar 3, winner of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2024, is a prime example of a victorious racing yacht fitted out with every comfort. Its interiors are adorned with premium finishes, such as smoked eucalyptus and a palette of warm whites for the leather furnishings, drawing inspiration from classic luxury yachts. Aft of the staircase, on the port side, the galley offers ergonomic solutions: a spacious worktop surrounded by sofas, with the sink positioned on the opposite side of the corridor, under the stairs. The oven, induction hob and dishwasher are Siemens; the refrigerators are Frigonautica.

Lapitec

This 25-square-metre kitchen, arranged in a U-shaped layout, stands out for its refined interplay of contrasts. The base units, whose wengé fronts have chrome-finished grooved fingergrips, are juxtaposed with light lacquered wall units, perfectly complementing the Lapitec sintered stone worktop in the colour Bianco Assoluto with Vesuvio finish. The Lapitec surface has an irregular surface texture, which enhances the tactile quality of the design, an effect enhanced by the natural light that streams in through the two porthole windows. The worktop – precision-crafted to accommodate two steel sinks – features 50mm-high edges along the longer sides. The cooking area, positioned at a slightly lower level, introduces an attractive geometric variation that gives the composition an extra decorative touch. Lapitec sintered stone ensures exceptional resistance to marine conditions, salt exposure, UV rays and temperature swings. This material is also extremely hygienic and resistant to bacterial growth, offering long-lasting, high-performance results in elegant, sophisticated settings.
